Yes, you can propose and serve breakfast, lunch or dinner meals.
You should include what you would typically charge a customer and what is identified on your menu into the price of your meal. Therefore, tax can be charged, but gratuity and any additional service fees should not be charged.
The application will remain open for business to apply through the distribution period.
You will need to provide an invoice for each distribution date. The City will pay each invoice after the distribution day is completed.
There are currently no specific dietary needs. Meals proposed should be considered for the senior citizen population with different cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
You can decide how many staff are needed to distribute 100-140 meals within a hour time frame, however two staff may be sufficient.
The City will provide up to four tables and two chairs for your distribution area. All other equipment (ex. , utensils, napkins, etc), items used for serving, or keeping meals to the appropriate temperature are the business’ responsibility.
It is suggested that you arrive at least 30 minutes in advance to setup your booth and be prepared to start distribution of meals at the start of the distribution times.
