Construction of the Bastanchury Road Widening Project between Casa Loma and Eureka avenues is now halfway to completion. Currently, crews are building the foundations for a retaining wall along the south side of Bastanchury Road. This effort required the removal of the existing block wall along the edge of several properties on that side of Bastanchury Road. Once the retaining wall is complete, the team will be able to raise the street elevation to its final height and finish off the remainder of the project. Please continue to exercise extra caution while driving in the construction zone.
