The Veterans Memorial Association will hold its annual Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 29 at the Veterans Memorial at Veterans Park. The event begins at 2 p.m. and will feature speakers, the Los Angeles Police Emerald Society Pipes and Drums, the 11th MEU Color Guard, and the traditional Gold Star Roll Call.
Please note that all City facilities will be closed on Monday, May 29, 2023 In observance of Memorial Day. Refuse and recycling collection will not take place on Memorial Day, and collection will be delayed by one day for the rest of the week.
