[ARCHIVED] Republic Services to Conduct State-Mandated Contamination Audits

State-mandated Organics Recycling Audits Coming Soon

As required by State Law, Senate Bill 1383, Republic Services must conduct contamination audits by the end of the calendar year. Therefore, Republic Services staff, in safety vests, will be in your community reviewing the contents of your trash, recycling, and organics containers. If contamination is found, a courtesy tag will be placed on the cart notifying you of the incorrect items. No contamination fee will be assessed at this point. Only a small number of residential and commercial accounts will be chosen randomly for the audit. Please note that these educational reviews are mandated by state law and will occur on an annual basis. Thank you for your cooperation.
