[ARCHIVED] OC Public Works Making Road Improvements in Yorba Linda County Islands

construction alert for yorba linda islands road improvement project

OC Public Works will complete remedial asphalt repairs to various roads within the unincorporated Orange County service area of Yorba Linda Islands, generally located along Kellogg Drive and Fairlynn Boulevard. Access to residences may be limited during normal working hours, depending on the location of the work. Advanced notification, door hangers, and “No Parking” signs will be provided 48 hours prior to construction activity.

Work includes concrete repair, asphalt repair, crack sealing, and re-establishing traffic striping and pavement markings disturbed by construction. Area motorists and other road users including residents, businesses, and adjacent schools may experience traffic delays when traveling through the project areas. Traffic control and detours will be in place to minimize the impacts.

The project is anticipated to begin on November 7, 2022, and last through late December 2022. Construction crews will be working Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. This schedule is tentative and subject to change.
