The City of Yorba Linda strives to be a place where all of its diverse community members feel welcome and can fully participate in City programs. To help accomplish that goal, the City has hired a consultant to perform a Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan in accordance with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). This video, created by the consultant, gives a brief overview of that process. Over the next several months, the consultant will evaluate the accessibility of the City’s buildings, public rights of way, and the City’s programs, services, and activities. Once all evaluations are complete, members of the public will be invited to review the findings and provide public comments.
The City will provide ample public notice when the plan is ready for public review and will include more information about how to participate in future editions of the Yorba Linda Connection and the City's website.
