Through the Coronavirus Relief Fund, the City of Yorba Linda has received grant funding to supplement necessary expenditures related to the food distribution to senior citizens and other vulnerable residents.
The objective of this program is to utilize qualified Yorba Linda restaurants to serve fresh boxed meals to residents during the City of Yorba Linda’s two drive-thru food distribution programs at the Community Center:
- Senior Congregate Meals distribution (Mondays, 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.); and
- Grocery Program distribution (Thursdays, 7:45 a.m. - 8:45 a.m.).
Businesses participating in this program will be paid for the number of meals prepared at a fixed price.
If your business is interested in this opportunity, please review the program details and requirements and complete the application by visiting the Meal Gap Program page on our website. Initial applications received will be reviewed on July 29 and the first scheduled distribution of meals is scheduled for Monday, August 10.
