Golden State Water Company will be replacing an existing 1.0 million gallon partially-buried concrete reservoir located at the College Plant Site in north Yorba Linda with two new 0.5 million gallon above-ground steel reservoirs. Construction is set to begin mid-June and is anticipated to take 14-16 months to complete. During this time, Construction crews with heavy excavators, breaker bars, backhoes, dump trucks, crew trucks, and hand tools will be digging throughout the plant site. The streets will remain open to traffic during the construction period. Local traffic on Bastanchury Road near the access road entrance may be restricted periodically for short durations of time to get large equipment and materials in and out of the site. The construction crews will make every effort to keep dust to a minimum. Please expect an increased level of noise during the construction period, particularly during demolition of the existing structure.
If you have any questions or concerns about the construction activities for this project, please call the Golden State Water Company’s Project Manager, Mr. Long Thai at 714-296-4319. Please visit Golden State Water Company’s website for periodic updates on the construction progress.
