Residents are invited to join Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) at an upcoming Connect SoCal workshop! SCAG is hosting 27 public open-house events in May and June as part of the development of Connect SoCal, the 2020-2045 Regional Transportation Plan/Sustainable Communities Strategy. Stop by to learn about how the region is anticipated to grow, understand choices about where growth occurs, and provide input on how to keep the region moving.
Connect SoCal, the 2020-2045 Regional Transportation Plan/Sustainable Communities Strategy, will present a long-range vision that balances future mobility and housing needs with economic, environmental and public health goals. The plan is developed with input from communities all over the region, which includes the counties of Imperial, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Ventura. By attending a workshop, you will be able to learn more about the challenges facing the region over the next 25 years and the potential solutions we have to address them.
Over the next month, SCAG will be making stops all over the region, with workshops in the counties of Orange, Imperial, Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Ventura. You can view this workshop calendar to find options near you or visit connectsocal.org to learn more about the Connect SoCal development process and follow the latest updates.
