At the March 5, 2019 City Council Meeting, Mayor Tara Campbell and members of the City Council recognized the first responders and volunteers who responded to the tragic plane crash incident that claimed the lives of five individuals on Sunday, February 3.
Nearly 300 first responders and volunteers came together to respond to this incident. Responding agencies included the Orange County Fire Authority, Orange County Sheriff’s Department, Anaheim Police Department, Anaheim Fire Department, Brea Fire Department, Placentia Police Department, and Emergency Ambulance Service. Moreover, volunteers from Trauma Intervention Programs (TIP) and the American Red Cross assisted with the crisis intervention and recovery efforts.
The City of Yorba Linda commends these men and women who serve the community with bravery and selflessness.
