Rehabilitation of Trueblood Property Moves Forward

House rendering with "Project Update"

At the City Council Meeting on Tuesday, January 15, 2019, the Yorba Linda City Council approved an agreement with a developer to complete the rehabilitation of the Trueblood House, a historic property owned by the City. Built in 1918, the home is listed on the City's local historic register and former President Richard Nixon is said to have spent time in the home. Located at 4801 Park Avenue, the rehabilitated property will be a fully functioning, modernized building intended for governmental use and will retain the architectural style and defining features of the original structure, including craftsman-style elements. An 18-month time frame is anticipated for the completion of the project.
