Upcoming Teen Events
Game Night
Teens ages 12-15 years are invited to join us for a fun night out playing a variety of games, including board games, team games, and video games on the Nintendo Switch. Pre-registration is required.

Bite of Reality
Where does your parents' money go? A hands-on "real-world" experience of the financial realities of being an adult. Via a smartphone app, you will be given a fictional occupation, income, and various debts. Participants use their budget to purchase life needs, including housing, transportation, groceries, clothing, entertainment, child care, and household items. This fun, interactive program will teach h you how to spend wisely, distinguish needs from wants, and budget properly. Refreshments will be provided. Please bring your smartphone. Pre-registration is required.

Teen Volunteer Opportunities
Youth Empowerment Service Day
Youth Empowerment Service Day is for students in grades 6-12 and provides the opportunity to give back to the community while earning service hours for school. This year, we are partnering with Patriots and Paws, which is a local non-profit dedicated to providing resources for veterans, active military, and retired military service animals. Volunteers will participate in various crafts and activities, such as putting together dog toys, creating cards, and more. Continental breakfast will be provided to volunteers. No registration is required.

Community Volunteer Program
The program is designed to assist Yorba Linda residents in grades 9 to 12 to complete their community service requirements and give them an opportunity to get involved in their community. The Yorba Linda Community Volunteer Program is not designed for individuals who must serve court-ordered community service.
