Teen Night Out

Date: Friday, January 29

Time: 5:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Location: Brea Mall

Cost: $20 per person

Teens ages 12-15 years of age are invited to join recreation staff at Play Live Nation in the Brea Mall. The event will include two hours of gaming, trivia, raffles, plus food and drinks. 

Teen Job Workshop

Date: Friday, February 11

Time: 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. 

Location: Thomas Lasorda Jr. Field House  

Cost: Free

High School students who are looking for volunteer experience or work opportunities but don't know where to start, this is the workshop for you! Recreation staff will present a workshop with resources and assistance with resumes and applications that will help prepare teens to enter the workforce. 

teen nerf night 

Date: Friday, March 11

Time: 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Location: Yorba Linda Middle School Field

Cost: $10 per person 

Parks and Recreation staff will transform the soccer field at Yorba Linda Middle School into a battleground of fun! Participants must provide their own nerf gun and protective eyewear; darts will be provided. There will be a variety of challenges including Capture the Flag, Team Elimination, and Free-for All. 

Teen movie Night

Date: Friday, March 25

Time: 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. 

Location: Thomas Lasorda Jr. Field House

Cost: Free

Bring a friend and join Parks and Recreation staff at the Field House for fun! Teens are invited to enjoy a showing of Marvel's Black Widow on our 20ft inflatable screen. Pizza, popcorn, drinks and games are included.

Teen Volunteer Opportunities

Teen Action Committee

The Yorba Linda Teen Action Committee program is a leadership-based volunteer organization designed for seventh and eighth-grade middle school students who live or attend a public or private school in Yorba Linda. Teen Action Committee members will participate in a variety of community service projects as well as assist in planning and implementing City-sponsored events.

Community Volunteer Program 

The program is designed to assist Yorba Linda residents in the 9th-12th grade to complete their community service requirements and give them an opportunity to get involved in their community. The Yorba Linda Community Volunteer Program is not designed for individuals who must serve court-ordered community service.
