LMAD Zone Maintenance
The District landscape zones are maintained on an annual basis through seven different landscape maintenance contracts. These contracts or “packages” are identified as packages A-G. Each contract package is periodically competitively bid in accordance with the procedures stipulated in California state law.

The zones maintained by each package and their contractor are listed below. Zones beginning with the letter ‘A’ are for arterial landscape zones, and zones beginning with the letter ‘L’ are for local landscape zones. There is overlap in some zones, where portions are partially maintained by two different contracts for geographical reasons (for example, with one side of a street in one zone and the other side of the street in the adjacent zone or a split neighborhood).
