Building
The Building Division regulates building and associated construction activities to protect public health, safety and welfare pursuant to uniform construction codes governing land use and code enforcement. The staff's activities include building plan review and inspection during construction

City Clerk
The City Clerk's Office oversees the legislative history of the City Council, is responsible for the care and custody of all City records, and researches and disseminates information for staff and the public.

City Manager's Office
The City Manager's Office is responsible for the implementation of decisions established by the Yorba Linda City Council and the coordination of those efforts through the various City departments.

Communications
The Communications Division provides timely and accurate information to residents, businesses, community groups, and the media regarding City programs, projects and events.

Community Preservation
The Community Preservation Division administers the prevention, detection, investigation, and enforcement of violations of laws regulating public nuisance, public health, safety, and welfare, public works, business activities, building standards, land-use, or municipal affairs.

Economic Development
The City’s Economic Development Division offers economic development support through a variety of programs and resources to foster a better quality of life and economic growth in Yorba Linda and to assist business owners in the process of opening a new business, remodeling, or expanding an existing business within the City.

Emergency Management
The Emergency Management Division strengthens the City’s ability to prepare for, mitigate against, respond to, and recover from any disaster, as well as manages all emergency preparedness efforts for the City.

Library
The Yorba Linda Public Library inspires, connects, and builds community by providing resources and programs to stimulate imagination, satisfy curiosity, and enable the pursuit of life-long learning.

LMAD
The mission of the LMAD is to enhance the aesthetic image and promote the general environmental quality of the community. The Yorba Linda LMAD has a diverse urban forest of more than 22,000 trees.

Parks & Recreation
The Parks and Recreation Department is responsible for the City’s well-maintained parks, clean and well-functioning recreation facilities, and quality programs, events, and community services to the residents and visitors of Yorba Linda.

Planning
The Planning Division writes and updates the City's General Plan and Specific Plans. Staff reviews all projects for zoning compliance, processes land division applications, and processes all environmental assessments and reports.
