The City of Yorba Linda Parks and Recreation Department offers a variety of volunteer opportunities to serve a wide range of ages and interests.
Clean Parks Campaign
The Parks and Recreation Department manages over 150 acres of open space including parks, trails, recreation facilities and a municipal golf course. There are many ways you can help us keep our parks and facilities clean, safe and enjoyable for all. Learn more about our Clean Parks Campaign.
Senior Program Volunteers
Adult volunteers ages 18+ are welcome to assist staff at the Yorba Linda Community Center with various programs and events for the City's older adult community. Volunteers opportunities include the following senior programs and events:
- Senior Lunch Program
- Senior Grocery Program
- Senior Movies
- Longevity Stick Exercise
- Senior Striders Walking Group
- Karaoke
- Wii Bowling
- Senior Dances
- Special Events: Wellness Expo, Tea & Fashion Show, Art Show and Reception

Teen Program Volunteers
A variety of volunteer opportunities are available for teens in grades 7-12, helping them gain work and life experience while earning service credit for school.
