Parks & Recreation
The Parks and Recreation Department is responsible for the City’s well-maintained parks, clean and well-functioning recreation facilities, and quality programs, events, and community services to the residents and visitors of Yorba Linda. The Yorba Linda Parks and Recreation Department is comprised of three divisions: Parks, Facilities, and Recreation. Quality recreational facilities, programs, special events, and public park and trail systems in Yorba Linda are made possible by the combined efforts of each of these divisions.
Parks Division
The Parks Division’s primary responsibilities include the maintenance and enhancement of the extensive park system, trails, and playgrounds throughout Yorba Linda to ensure safe, pleasant, and worthwhile experiences for residents and visitors.
Facilities Division
The Facilities Division’s primary responsibilities include the maintenance, repair, and operations of Yorba Linda’s public buildings, as well as the provision of support among all departments in Yorba Linda.
Recreation Division
The Recreation Division’s primary responsibilities include the development and leadership of a variety of recreational programs and family events to serve the Yorba Linda community, management of public rentals of community rooms and park shelters, provision of community volunteer opportunities, and improvement of the overall quality of life for all participating members.
