In December 2014, the City of Yorba Linda was honored to adopt the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU). The City and its residents continue to offer support through the Yorba Linda 11th MEU Adoption Committee. The Adoption Committee is comprised of local volunteers who generously donate their time to: volunteer at MEU events, fundraise for special MEU activities, provide new-baby gift baskets, deployment care packages, holiday meal gift cards, and more, to benefit 11th MEU’s Marines, Sailors and families.
