The Department of Community Development is responsible for managing all planning, zoning, and land development issues for the City.

The Finance Department is accountable for all monies received by the City/Successor Agency and provides all financial management services.

Fire
The City of Yorba Linda contracts with the Orange County Fire Authority for all of its fire safety needs.

The Yorba Linda Public Library inspires, connects, and builds community by providing resources and programs to stimulate imagination, satisfy curiosity, and enable the pursuit of life-long learning.

Parks & Recreation
The Parks and Recreation Department is responsible for the City’s well-maintained parks, clean and well-functioning recreation facilities, and quality programs, events, and community services to the residents and visitors of Yorba Linda.

Police
The City of Yorba Linda contracts with the Orange County Sheriff's Department for Police Services. The Sheriff's Department is responsible for providing for the protection of citizens, the enforcement of laws, apprehension of criminals, and crime prevention.

The Public Works Department provides the management and maintenance of the City's public infrastructure, water quality regulations, and drainage/ grading requirements.
